Meet. Mollie.

Hello, I’m Mollie, owner of Mollie Logan Photography.  I’m a full-service photographer that  specializes in high school seniors, sports, headshots, and business branding.  I’m a Des Moines captive, born and raised in Omaha, NE.  I love serving my neighbors here in Iowa and will often travel “back home” to NE to capture memories.I picked up my first camera after my second was born.  It was a difficult season and my husband knew just what my heart needed.  A Nikon D40, which I still own, became a tool that brought joy while freezing the moments that mattered.   I would spend hours practicing, freezing every joy-filled moment. Tiny toes, sibling interactions… anything that screamed love. I’d spend hours upon hours printing those memories and organizing them so perfectly in my Creative Memories scrapbooks to enjoy for years.  And yes, I will still often bring out those albums, smiling away at each page as the emotions and memories flood back!

But, back before babies and way before my first camera, I was known as Mrs. Logan, teaching the most tiniest humans.  Preschool was my jam, with a teaching style that focused on play-based learning.  My goal was to build confidence and connection, allowing for each students’ bucket to be full.  I quickly learned that the easiest path to this was to make sure each child felt seen, loved, and well cared for – something I bring into my photo sessions now each and every time.

My journey has taught me that photography has never really been just about the images, it’s about connection, confidence and freezing the moments that matter. I know how fast life moves and how quickly seasons change. One day you’re holding your baby for the first time, and before you know it, you’re planning senior pictures, celebrating milestones, or stepping into a new chapter. That’s why I care so deeply about the experience I create for my clients. I want your session to feel personal, fun, and meaningful. More than anything, I want you to walk away with more than beautiful images. I want you to walk away feeling confident, celebrated, and reminded of who you are in this season of life.
