Hello.

iowa-high-school-seniors-mollie-logan-56.jpg

Your senior year deserves to be remembered in a way that feels true to you, from our first conversation to your final images!

Conveniently located in Des Moines, Iowa, I specializes in high school senior portraits and serves students from all schools In the metropolitan Des Moines area, including the towns of Waukee, West Des Moines, Urbandale, Van Meter, Dallas Center and Adel.

I offer both studio and on-location outdoor sessions, offering  you a senior experience like no other.

-HOW IT WORKS-

Planning

Before your session, let's chat!  You'll stop by my studio at Mainframe Studios in Des. Moines Iowa for your in person consultation.  I'll learn more about you as we discuss your vision for the session.  This meeting typically lasts 45 minutes, covering all the details- date, time, locations, ect. We will work together to customize a session that is all about you!

Let the fun begin!  We'll shoot, laugh and have the absolute best time.
Things I do to make it a breeze-

  •  bring a portable changing tent for quick and easy outfit changes

  • help with posing, guiding you throughout the entire session

  • use expert lighting techniques, to create a polished look that makes your portraits shine and your eyes truly pop.

At your ordering appointment, we’ll sit down together and go through your images for the first time.

I’ll help you narrow down your favorites and design something tangible with them—most clients choose an album or a print box to tell the full story, and then select a few favorites for their walls.

You don’t need to decide anything ahead of time—I’ll guide you through everything step by step so it feels easy and not overwhelming.

Most of my clients invest between $900–$1800 on their custom artwork, depending on what they fall in love with.

Once your products arrive, I’ll carefully prepare everything for pickup or delivery. From albums to wall art and keepsake boxes, this is the moment your senior session officially comes to life beyond the screen.

-Your Photos Deserve To Be Seen-

In today’s digital world, we capture more photos than ever before—but how often do we actually see them? Digital images are stored in the cloud, on phones, or in hard drives, easily forgotten or lost over time. Printing your photos is a powerful way to preserve memories and create lasting works of art.

I specialize in high-quality prints that showcase your most cherished moments. Whether you're interested in a gallery-worthy canvas, a personalized portrait, or a custom photo album, I'm here to help you preserve and celebrate your memories in print.

Don’t let your photos live only in the digital world. Let’s turn them into something you can hold, share, and pass down for years to come.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Far In Advance Should I Book My Session?

Most senior sessions book 6–8 weeks in advance, especially during peak fall season. If you already have a season or month in mind, I recommend reaching out sooner rather than later so we can get your date secured.

How Long Will My Session Last?

Most sessions last up to 2 hours depending on locations, outfits, and the overall flow of your session. I keep things relaxed and never rush the experience.

Where Will My Session Take Place?

We’ll plan locations together based on your style and personality. Whether you love open fields, downtown Des Moines, studio portraits, or something more edgy and urban, I’ll help guide you toward locations that fit your vibe.

What Should I Bring To My Session?

I recommend bringing 2–3 outfit options with a mix of colors and styles. Accessories make a huge difference, so don’t forget things like:

  • jewelry

  • hats

  • jackets

  • sunglasses

  • shoes for each outfit

If you want to include something personal like your car, sports gear, instrument, or pet, just let me know ahead of time so we can plan for it.

Do I need to know how to pose?
Absolutely not haha. Most of my seniors tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera at first. I’ll guide you through everything so your session feels relaxed and natural.

What If It Rains?

I keep a close eye on the weather leading up to your session. Iowa weather changes fast, so I usually wait until the day of your session before making any weather calls. If we need to reschedule due to rain, we’ll find the next available date that works.

Do I Need Professional Hair & Makeup?

Professional hair and makeup is never required, but it can absolutely elevate your final images and help you feel extra confident in front of the camera.

If you prefer a more natural look, that’s completely okay too. The biggest goal is making sure you still feel like YOU.

I do recommend bringing makeup for touch-ups, especially during warmer summer sessions.

Can I Bring Someone With Me?

Absolutely! Parents are encouraged to come, and you’re welcome to bring one friend along too. Sessions are always more fun when you feel comfortable and relaxed.
